About the Journal

Indonesian Journal of Communication ScienceĀ  is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed publication focused on the study of communication and its role in shaping social, cultural, political, and economic dynamics. The journal welcomes research from a range of disciplines including but not limited to communication studies, sociology, psychology, linguistics, media studies, and anthropology.

Aim and Objectives: The aim of the journal is to promote and disseminate research that advances our understanding of the communication process and its impact on society. The objectives of the journal include:

4. Communication and Media: The study of media production, distribution and consumption and the role of media in shaping public opinion and collective identity.

5. Communication and Social Movements: Research on the role of communication in mobilizing, organizing, and articulating social movements and social change.

6. Communication and Health: Investigations into communication in the context of disease prevention, health promotion, and public health behavior.

Submission Guidelines: Indonesian Journal of Communication ScienceĀ  accepts original research articles, review articles, and commentaries. Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal's online submission system. All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Authors are encouraged to consult the journal's author guidelines before submitting their manuscripts.

Publication: Indonesian Journal of Communication Science is published biannually (twice a year) in online formats. All articles published in the journal are open access, ensuring maximum visibility and accessibility to the research community and the general public.

Editorial Board: The journal's editorial board consists of experts in the field of communication science from different disciplines and regions of the world. The board is responsible for ensuring the quality and relevance of the articles published in the journal.
