Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of The Journal of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems must be:
1. For articles in Bahasa Indonesia, please use the reference to the correct "Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia Yang Disempurnakan" as can be followed through this link.
2. The length of the submitted paper is no more than 12 pages. Editors will be evaluated if the papers are needing more pages than 12 pages.
3. Use a tool such as Mendeley or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose IEEE Style
4. Make sure that your paper is prepared using The Journal of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems paper template and Copyright Transfer Form when if accepted.

B. Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:
1. Title. The title of the paper is maxed 10 words, without Acronym or abbreviation
2. Abstract. The Abstract has a maximum of 200 words; No citation; State in the abstract a primary objective, research design, methodology, main outcomes, and results, and conclusions.
3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Introduction – The Proposed Method/Algorithm (optional) –  Method –Results and Discussion – Conclusion
4. Reference. Expect a minimum of 10 references preferably with a minimum of 80% for journal papers, and a minimum of 10 years.

 

The following are the steps to submit a manuscript in The Journal of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems:

The author is welcome from various circles both Research Lecturers, Practitioners, Students from various countries, who have good papers to be readily published.

2. Download the template here.

3. Customize your manuscript with The Journal of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems Template format. If so, please login here, then Submit your Manuscript by clicking the New Submission link. Follow the guidelines that appear on the website to complete. Many fatal errors from the Author are not reading well the guide on TEMPLATE. Therefore, before submitting, please check and re-check your Manuscript, making sure you have followed the Template Guide. DON'T SEND / SUBMIT THE MANUSCRIPT THAT IS NOT APPROPRIATE TO THE TEMPLATE. For some reason, the manuscript does not fit the template is sometimes directly REJECT and/or Request to be corrected if the error is minor

4. If so, then your text will be immediately checked by the Editor and will be reviewed by competent reviewers.

5. To check the status of your script, please log in to the website. All activities in this Journal are web-based including the review process.

6. If something is asked of the editor, use the discussion menu available on the website page after you log in.

7. If your progress is not responded to after a maximum of 1 week, please email jurnal.jitis@iei-science.org by mentioning the name and title of the text.
